Over the mountains and through the woods.....
to the farmhouse we have in Missouri! Yay! We are leaving this Sunday for a two week visit to our property. Hopefully the pipes haven't frozen! The children are looking forward to Christmas in Missouri. I hope it snows for them while we are there. Today and tomorrow will be a flurry of activity getting ready. We are taking a load of stuff on the trailer, so there will be less to move when we do. We have a new plan. We are planning to move there in February regardless of whether or not our house in TX sells. If we have to, we will rent it out. So, that's the plan. Pray for us!

Be prepared its really chilly... Not as cold as it was but bring lots of blankets and clothes to layer with!! Wood heat is wonderful but tends to cool off towards morning thus the need for a pile of blankets. Lol
Thanks for the heads up! The boys will have their work cut out for them, chopping wood when we arrive!
Just wondering if you all are still here in Missouri? I hope everything went okay!
Oh, we made it back to Texas safely. Now Chris and two of the boys are up there. They are fencing in about five acres between the house and your grandmother's property line. Hoping to get some goats and give them those woods and a bit of pasture to graze in. We should be moved in the first week of March or so. We'll work on more fencing once we are there. We just needed something to start with for our dogs and two pygmy goats.
My goats loved those woods and my girls too! They played in them for hours with goats following along!lol
We have a lot of good memories at that place....
